It is important to note that the process of obtaining a prescription for hearing aids through the social security system involves several steps. The insured individual must submit the document to various departments within the medical center, such as obtaining stamps and authorization from the Surgery Department, the Medical Directorate, and the budget office of the respective hospital or clinic.

Once all the necessary procedures have been completed, the insured individual can choose their preferred hearing healthcare provider, whether it's an audiology clinic or an auditory center. It is essential to consider the experience and empathy of the audiologist who will carry out the hearing aid fitting and provide post-adaptation follow-up.
